Some may refer to me as a "people person" and often say "you're so good with kids," yet I've realized that children, like adults just want to know that someone cares for them. I have realized throughout my career that students need to make connections with their teachers, they need to know that their teacher cares about them and what is important to them. This goes for all relationships really. I've seen this first hand not only in my classroom but also in the times I've been able to volunteer at orphanages around our city. I pride myself in being involved in various organizations that help children in need. My life has changed as a result of my involvement. I hope to have the opportunity to help your child reach their full potential.
